Obituary of Garry Joseph Petillion

Garry Joseph Petillion, beloved husband of Deb Petillion and father of Kurt of Calgary, passed away unexpectedly of a massive brain tumor at the Foothills Medical Centre on Sunday, September 5, 2004 at the age of 49 years. Garry worked in the Trucking industry at Motorways for over twenty years and then for the past eight years he was a school bus driver with Cardinal Coach Lines. Garry was very involved in the community, volunteering with numerous organizations, such as Uncles At Large, The Richmond Knobhill Community Association, The Back Door, and St. Martin’s Anglican Church. Besides his loving wife and son, Garry is remembered by his mother Celina Petillion; brother Bryan Petillion; two sisters and brothers-in-law Sharon and Brian Tucker, all of Ste. Rose du Lac, MB, and Laurie and Glen Nelson of Neepawa, MB; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dana and Elsa Thompson of Calgary; nephew Shaun and his wife Valerie; niece Kari and her special friend Marty; nephews Sheyn Tucker, Garret Nelson, and Trent Nelson; brother-in-law, Gordon Thompson of Kingston, ON; as well as many other relatives especially his cousin and good friend Luc Ingelbeen of Calgary. He was predeceased by his brother Daniel Petillion. Funeral Services will be held at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church (1121 – 14th Avenue S.W.) on Friday, September 10, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. with the Venerable Dr. Richard LeSueur and the Rev.
