Obituary of Margaret Rose Rooney

Margaret Rose Rooney of Calgary, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Peter Lougheed Centre on Thursday, August 19, 2004 at the age of 84 years. Margaret was born on May 25, 1920 in St. Paul, Minnesota and married her husband Gerry Rooney in August of 1948. She is remembered by her two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael Rooney, and Tim and Fien Rooney, all of Calgary; grandchildren, Karina and Michael Shelton, Michael Rooney and Romina Salas; a sister in California; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Gerry in 1972 and by her eight sisters and three brothers. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Monday, August 23, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev.
