Obituary of Patrick George
Patrick (Pat) Pius George, of Calgary, passed away at the Peter Lougheed Centre on Sunday, August 15, 2004 at the age of 83 years.
Pat was very athletic and in his youth he enjoyed boxing and long distance running. George owned horses and loved to watch horse racing. In 1942 he joined the Regina Rifles and served during World War II
Pat will be remembered by his three sons, Patrick, Willie, and Gary all of Regina SK; and one daughter Bonie of Regina SK; stepchildren Norman of Regina, SK, Emilie of Calgary, and Sharon of Seattle, WA; and six grandchildren
He is also survived by his brother Andrew of Bancroft, Ontario, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Friday, August 20, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. To forward condolences go to www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
