Obituary of David Joseph Bruneau
David Joseph Bruneau of Airdrie, AB passed away peacefully on Monday, June 21, 2004 at the age of 51 years. He was at home, surrounded by his loved ones, with his devoted wife Betty by his side. David fought his battle with cancer with dignity and grace, and was an inspiration and strength to his family.
David is survived by his loving wife Betty Moulton and his sons Peter and David. He also leaves to mourn his devoted mother Catherine; sisters, Cathy, Terry (Guy) and Norah; brother Michael (Lois); and many nieces, nephews and other friends and family. He was predeceased by his father Peter and infant brother Peter.
David’s greatest joy was his two sons. His family always came first. David treasured the special times camping and fishing. An avid golfer and member of the Carstairs Golf Course, he enjoyed the thrill of his personal best score, while playing his final game this month. David touched the lives of many and will be remembered for his frankness, quick wit, ready smile and laugh.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Paul’s Catholic Church (1305 Main Street, Airdrie) on Friday, June 25, 2004 at 2:30 P.M. with the Rev. Frank Feldmann SAC, Presider.
