Obituary of Alexander Beyak
The family of Alexander Orest (“Les”) Beyak is deeply saddened to announce that Les passed away suddenly at his home in Calgary, AB on Tuesday, June 15, 2004.
Les is survived by his beloved wife Irene, sons Brent, Peter and Dave, daughters-in-law, Shannon (Dave) and Susan (Brent); and grandsons Jacob and Sam. He was predeceased by son, Michael.
Les is also survived by sisters, Nadia (Ben) Billy of Oakville, ON and Marcelle (Lou) Rosenitsch of Mississauga, ON; and brother William “Bill”(Betty) Beyak of Edmonton, AB. He was predeceased by brother, Ross.
Les is also survived by many close friends and relations all of whom he considered part of his family, and his many friendships from his active and distinguished career in the Canadian construction industry from which he retired in 1993, proudly as a Senior Vice President of PCL Construction.
Les touched many people and projects throughout his life. His accomplishments are many. He enjoyed building, teaching, helping and watching people and things grow to their fullest potential.
He is greatly missed and will always be remembered by everyone he touched.

Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Stephen’s Ukrainian Catholic Church (4903 – 45th Street S.W.) today, June 17, 2004 at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held at St. Stephen’s Ukrainian Catholic Church (4903 – 45th Street S.W.) today, June 18, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. Interment to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
