Obituary of Dorothy Ivy Reid

Dorothy Ivy Reid, beloved wife of Stanley Wayne Reid of Airdrie, passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at the age of 72 years. Dorothy was born on March 2, 1932 in Weyburn, SK. On May 9, 1957, she married Wayne and together, they lived and worked at various places in Western Canada. Dorothy was a very creative person and especially loved flowers, gardening and cooking. She was a loving wife, mother and friend to many, always there to help in times of need. Besides her loving husband Wayne, Dorothy is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rachelle and Paul Baiada of Sydney, Australia; her son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Sherri Reid of Airdrie, AB; and grandchildren, Ashley Reid, Amanda Reid, Candice Baiada, and Bryce Baiada. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Lila and Joe Frey of Victoria, BC. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, June 12, 2004 at 1:00 P.M.
