Obituary of Vera Olstad

Vera Olstad passed away at the Bow View Manor on Wednesday, June 2, 2004 at the age of 98 years. Vera was a graduate of 1924 class at the Edmonton General Hospital School of Nursing. She enjoyed an operating room nursing career in Stettler and Wetaskiwin. Vera was very devoted to her family and many friends. Her pleasures included entertaining, music and handicrafts. Vera will be lovingly remembered by her three children, Joan Ross of Calgary, Dawna (Lyle) Wiebe of Edmonton, and Daryl (Cora) Olstad of High River. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph in 1986. Family Graveside Service will be held at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
