Obituary of Robert Jerry Vysohlid
It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Bob Vysohlid of Calgary on Thursday, May 27, 2004 at the age of 54 years.
His family and friends will deeply miss his love, companionship and his constant desire to unselfishly give of himself. In this great loss, we find comfort in the knowledge that he has found true peace and happiness.
“Man’s main concern is not to gain pleasure or to avoid pain, but rather to see a meaning in life. That is why man is even ready to suffer, on the condition that his suffering has meaning.”
Bob is survived by his children, Brent, Carman and Michelle; his brother and sister-in-law, Thom and Rosemary of Calgary; and three aunts and two uncles, Gerry and Lou, Milan and Dorothy, and Betty, all of Calgary. Bob will also be missed by his cousins, Dean and Diane, Lisa and Pedro, all of Calgary, as well as Mendel and Carla, Joel and Anne, all of Vancouver, BC, and Roseanne and Bob of Red Deer, AB. He was predeceased by his loving parents, Margaret and Walter.
In keeping with Bob’s wishes, a private service will be held to celebrate his life. To forward condolences go to www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
