Obituary of Jeanette Zawalykut

Jeanette Louise Zawalykut (nee Forsey), beloved wife of Mr. Steve Zawalykut of Calgary, passed away at the Peter Lougheed Centre on Monday, May 24, 2004 after a lengthy battle with cancer at the age of 58 years. Jeanette had a love for nature and enjoyed camping and especially traveling. She had a flare for gardening and her creativity and skills were shown through her crafts and hobbies. Jeannette was a member of St. Anne’s C.W.L. and an avid Calgary Flames Hockey fan. Besides her loving husband of thirty-nine years, Jeanette is remembered by two daughters, Ginny and Debbie (Marty); five grandchildren, Kassandra, Austin, Chelsea, Adam, and Garret. She is also survived by her parents Roy and Patricia Forsey; and her brother and sister-in-law, Don and Kathy Forsey, and brother Ken Forsey; as well as other relatives and many friends. Jeanette was predeceased by her sister Diana. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Thursday, May 27, 2004 at 7:00 P.M. with The Rev. Stefan Ganowicz, officiating. Funeral Mass will be concelebrated at St. Anne’s Catholic Church (910 – 21st Avenue S.E.) on Friday, May 28, 2004 at 10:30 A.M. with the Rev.
