Obituary of Allan McCarthy
Allan McCarthy of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Agape Hospice on Wednesday May 19, 2004 at the age of 79 years.
Allan was born in Cowley, AB. Allan was a kind person who had a love for traveling in his motorhome to campgrounds throughout Alberta and sharing his enjoyment of the outdoors with his friends. He is survived by his sisters Pat Hartley of White Rock, B.C., Dorothy Lugg (Jack) of Brentwood Bay, B.C., Betty of Victoria, B.C., Larry (Donna) of Calgary, AB., as well as many nephews, nieces, cousins and good friends. Allan was predeceased by his parents Viola and Peter McCarthy, brothers Jim and Ray McCarthy and sister Marjorie Samulenok. Allan will be greatly missed.
A Private Family Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North). Graveside Service will follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
