Obituary of Murray Andrew Rogers

Murray Andrew Rogers, beloved husband for forty-four years of Rosemarie Rogers of Calgary, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at home on Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at the age of 67 years. Murray was an avid birdwatcher who loved a good game of cards, especially a challenging game of bridge. He was a very devoted husband, father and grandfather whose spirit will live in our hearts forever. Murray will be lovingly remembered by his wife Rose; children, Norine, John, Karen, Howard, Lance, and Rhonda; grandchildren, Jessica, Heather, Matthew, Michael, Joshua, Ann-Marie, and Danielle; and three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Alice, Inez and John, and Ellen and Charlie. He was predeceased by his father Jimmy, mother Mary, a brother Dick, and his sisters, Betty and Mary. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at 2:30 P.M. with the Rev. Jennifer Ferguson officiating.
