Obituary of James Henry Peakman
Jim Peakman, beloved husband of Ethel, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, May 13, 2004 at the age of 81 years.
Jim was born on August 11, 1922 in Shanavon, SK and was raised by Fred and Lucy Draper and their daughter Violet. Jim will be lovingly remembered by Ethel, his wife of sixty years; his two sons, Jim Peakman (Sandra) of Duncan, BC and Gordon Peakman (Wenda) of Moose Jaw, SK; his three daughters, Linda Taylor (Bob) of Calgary, Rita Bulycz (Merle) of Picture Butte, AB and Janet de Jong of Airdrie; his niece and nephew; especially Bev Heath (Bill), Tony White (Judy); sister Peggy Essex (Bruce); brother Ron Peakman (Mildred); brother-in-law Clifford White of England; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as many other relatives and friends that will also mourn his passing.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Airdrie Branch #288, Airdrie, AB on Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. To forward condolences go to www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
