Obituary
Obituary of Mitch Ford
Mitch was born in Calgary on October 26, 1961. It is with unimaginable sorrow that we now have to say good-bye.
Mitch was taken from us suddenly on Saturday, May 8th, 2004 at the age of 42 while pursuing his dream of flying. He is survived by and dearly missed by his life partner and soul mate Charlene Ellis, his parents, Shirley and Al Ford, brothers, Trevor (Michelle) and Jason, nephews Dylan and Tristan, his close friend and business partner Ryan Hamilton and many other extended family members and dear friends. Mitch was such a caring and gentle soul who gave so much of himself to others. Through his beautiful voice and natural abilities with virtually any instrument, Mitch shared his life long talent for music with those he loved. Mitch lived his entire life with big dreams and a passion for new experiences. His dream of flying started as a young boy and continued throughout his entire life. Mitch was the Owner of Springbank Aero Services, and was a highly respected pilot and accomplished flight instructor. Mitch was a brave, courageous hero to anyone who knew him. We are all so incredibly blessed to have had him in our lives. We will love him forever.
