Obituary of Lawrence Michael Schaff
Lawrence Michael Schaff, beloved husband of Pearl Schaff of Calgary, passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Monday, May 10, 2004 at the age of 51 years.
Lawrence was born on May 26, 1952 in Regina, SK and spent his childhood years in the Lampman, SK region. He married Pearl Elizabeth Hodgins on October 16, 1976, and worked in the oil patch from 1972 to 2004. Lawrence had a great passion for BMW motorcycles, golfing, curling, hockey, and spending time with friends and family.
Besides his loving wife Pearl, he is survived by a daughter Leslie; two sons, Brent and Wade, all of Calgary; a grandson Joshua; his parents, Michael and Rose Schaff of Estevan, SK; two sisters, Susan Fleck of Neepawa, MB and Joanne Choma of Macoun, SK; and a brother David Schaff of Lampman, SK. Lawrence was predeceased by his son Ryan Schaff.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Friday, May 14, 2004 at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke’s Catholic Church (Corner of Northmount Drive & Northland Drive N.W.) on Saturday, May 15, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Avinash Colaco, Presider.
