Obituary of William MacWilliams
Mr. William Andrew MacWilliams passed away in Edmonton on Saturday, May 1, 2004 at the age of 74 years. He is very much missed by his family and friends.
Mr. MacWilliams was born in Winnipeg and raised in Calgary where he met his future wife Constance Crawford-Frost, who predeceased him in 2001. He graduated from the University of Alberta in 1953 and resided in Two Hills, Alberta for over a decade, before moving to Edmonton. He enjoyed a long career as a chemist and engineer.
Mr. MacWilliams is survived by his brother Dr. Dalton MacWilliams, six children: Dr. Arthur MacWilliams, Duncan MacWilliams, Cary MacWilliams, Virginia Freed, Wendy MacWilliams and Noel McMahon, nine grandchildren, two nephews and two nieces.
Memorial Services were held at the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel (5311 – 91st Street, Edmonton) on Tuesday, May 4, 2004 at 1:00 PM, and will be held at Christ Church Elbow Park, (3602 8th Street, S.W., Calgary) on Saturday, May 8, 2004 at 1:00 PM.
