Obituary of Feliks Stanislaw WITUKIEWICZ

June 1, 1955 – Horodno, Poland September 2, 2017 – Calgary, Alberta Stanislaw beloved husband of Jadwiga Witukiewicz of Calgary, AB, passed away on September 2, 2017 at the age of 62 years. Feliks was born in Horondo, Poland. As a young man, he found great passion for the game of chess, winning various awards. He left his native country to pursue a better life in Canada for his family. He enjoyed travelling, venturing through the mountains, as well as tinkering with model trains. Feliks was an avid hockey fan, in particular of the Calgary Flames. Feliks was a selfless, courageous and loving man, who was adored by many, especially his family. Feliks’ greatest accomplishment, in his eyes, was marrying the love of his life, Jadwiga. Feliks leaves behind his loving wife Jadwiga, their children; Artur with wife Angela, Marcin, Dawid, Julia with partner Chris, as well as his beloved grandchildren Channing and Danika, who he adored. He also leaves to mourn his Mother, Antonina, Sisters; Danuta, Tosia with husband Marian, and brother Dariusz with wife Malgorzata, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws. Feliks also leaves behind his dear friends Bozena and Lukasz, Elizabeth, Oksana, Mirek and Anastazja, Ania and Zbyszek. Feliks was predeceased by his brother-in-law Roman. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors of Unit 66 at the South Health Campus for the care, compassion and love they showed to our entire family. What a beautiful difference one single life has made.
