Obituary of Kristen Paige Deyell

Kristen Paige Deyell of Calgary passed away in Guadalajara, Mexico on Friday, April 23, 2004 at the age of 20 years. Kristen was born in Calgary on February 24, 1984. She enjoyed soccer, dancing, painting, drama, and music. She was in her second year of the Mount Royal College’s Business Program and was involved in the Student Exchange Program. Kristen loved her time spent in Mexico, her host family and the friends she made in Guadalajara. Kristen is survived by her loving family: her mother, Cher Ewing; her father, Dave Deyell; two brothers, Matt and Dan; all of Calgary; her grandparents, Bill and Joan Deyell of Vancouver Island, BC, and Jean and Gerry Ewing of Calgary; Rob McLeay of Calgary; and all of her family and friends. A Celebration of Kristen’s Life will be held at Central United Church (131 – 7 Avenue S.W.) on Thursday, April 29, 2004 at 3:00 P.M. with the Rev. Michael C. Ward officiating.
