Obituary of Rachel May Johnson
Rachel May Johnson of Calgary passed away at the Carewest Royal Park on Saturday, April 24, 2004 at the age of 101 years.
Rachel will be sadly missed by her family. She was born in Sargeant, MN and moved to Canada in 1910. Rachel spent most of her married life in Redcliff, AB and moved to Calgary in 1967 where she resided until her passing.
Rachel is survived by her son Earl (Lucille) of Carstairs, AB; daughter Aleane of Calgary; three grandchildren, Clark (Pat), Gary, Arlene (Milton); five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband Bert; and siblings Joe, Clark, Hank, Clarence (Red) and Florence (Jakie).
A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Thursday, April 29, 2004 at 2:30 P.M. To forward condolences go to www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
