Obituary of Ida Sigler

Ida Sigler of Calgary passed away at Rockyview General Hospital on Wednesday, April 21, 2004 at the age of 87 years. Ida was a native Calgarian and attended Western High School, Mount Royal College and the University of Alberta, where she studied romance languages. Following her marriage to Dore in 1939, she devoted herself to her family. Ida is the loving mother of Murray (Judy) Sigler of Calgary, Doug (Lynne) Sigler of Edmonton and Betty(Lionel) Alberstat of Calgary. She will also be missed by five grandchildren, Paul (Thomas), Philip (Carol), Bryan, Michael (Chareen) and David; two great-grandchildren, Theodora and Alexandra; and her loving sister Adelle Mitchner of Menlo Park, CA. Ida was predeceased by her beloved husband Isadore Morris (Dore) and her beloved sister Nechama (Anne) Simkin. A Graveside Service will be held at the Jewish Cemetery (30th Avenue & Erlton Street S.W.) on Thursday, April 22, 2004 at 2:00 P.M.
