Obituary of Lynn Brown
Lynn Brown, beloved soul mate of Peter Milburn of Calgary, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2004 at the age of 49 years, following a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Lynn was surrounded by her family and beloved companion, soul mate and caregiver, Peter Milburn. Lynn was the Oliphant family anchor. She provided guidance when asked, comfort when needed and always found simple solutions for complex issues. When she was not running her business, Lynn enjoyed traveling and always looked forward to ocean cruises.
Lynn is survived by the love of her life, her son Jeremy, and her loving father and mother, Gordon and Margaret Oliphant. She is also survived by five brothers and sisters and their families, Joel and Mary Oliphant, Beverly and Doug Van Kampen, Susan and Rick Orman, Robert and Chris Oliphant, and Stephen Oliphant and his companion Lois, whose love for their sweet sister is truly infinite. Lynn will be remembered for her remarkable strength, charm, wit and unsurpassed love for her nieces and nephews, Adam and Quinn Singer; Jennifer, David, and Scott Oliphant, Sarah Margaret and Sophie Oliphant; Danny, Michael and Jessica Van Kampen.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Saturday, April 24, 2004 at 2:30 P.M. To forward condolences go to www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
