Obituary of Delos Reyes

Rosalinda (Linda) Bobadilla Delos Reyes of Calgary passed away peacefully at the Foothills Medical Centre on Monday, April 19, 2004 at the age of 53 years following a courageous battle with cancer. In 1972 Linda emigrated from the Philippines to Winnipeg, Manitoba where she was married and had her three children. In 1981 Linda moved to Calgary with her family where she worked for the Calgary Health Region at both the Calgary General Hospital and the Peter Lougheed Hospital for over twenty-three years. Linda’s concern for the well being of her family led to the sponsorship of members of her family from her homeland to Calgary in subsequent years. We will all carry memories of Linda’s beautiful, strong spirit. Many of those who have met Linda would agree that her smile brought light to the world around her. She has touched many lives with her warm heart and will continue to be cherished and missed. Linda will be forever missed and remembered by her three children, Gilbert (Wilma), Richard and Liza; her mother Marcela; sisters, Marietta and Elisa; brothers, Ernesto (Leonora) and Primitivo (Hermie); as well as Rolando and family. Linda was predeceased by her father Primitivo Bobadilla and best friend Teresita Malinis.
