Obituary of Margaret Irene Walkey

Margaret Irene Walkey, beloved wife of Mr. William (Bill) Walkey of Calgary, passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Saturday, April 17, 2004 at the age of 71 years. Besides her loving husband, Margaret is survived by her children, David Walkey of Ottawa, ON, Linda Ivory of Victoria, BC and Shirley Walkey of Calgary; as well as three grandchildren, Carl, Matthew and Christopher Walkey. Margaret is also survived by three sisters, Albina “Zibby” Melsted, Mildred Melsted, both of Kelowna, BC, and Laura Klaus, of Thunder Bay, ON; as well as numerous nieces and nephews throughout Canada and the USA. She was predeceased by her brother Albert “Bud” Melsted and two sisters Lydia Sara and Anna Melsted.
