Obituary of Garrioch Evans

Garrioch (Garry) Kerr Evans, beloved husband of Esther Evans of Calgary, passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Saturday, April 10, 2004 at the age of 81 years. Garry was born on April 21, 1922 in Three Hills, AB and was a life member of the A.N.A.F. and I.O.F. associations. Besides his loving wife, Garry is remembered by his son and daughter-in-law, Guy Evans and Chris Lamy and daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Jon Jurok, all of Calgary; two grandchildren, Sheri (Jonni) Lavertu of Calgary and Jason (Javi) Jurok of Crossfield; as well as three great-grandchildren, Julien Lavertu, Elise Lavertu and Matias Jurok. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Thursday, April 15, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. To forward condolences go to www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
