Obituary of Katie Morgan

Katie Morgan of Calgary passed away at the Hillcrest Extendicare on Thursday, April 8, 2004 at the age of 86 years. She was born April 6, 1918 in Smoky Lake, AB and has resided in Calgary for the past fifty years. She enjoyed gardening, especially her flowers. Katie is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Albert and Kaireen Morgan of North Vancouver, BC; three daughters, Margaret Falk and Bev Morgan of Calgary, and Ivy Morgan of Edmonton, AB; five grandchildren, Bruce (Josie) Falk of Calgary, and Brian (Denell) Falk of Chestermere, Janet (Greg) Dyck of Duchess, AB, Liam Morgan and Lindsay Morgan of North Vancouver, BC., and eleven great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers and a sister-in-law, George Smandych, and John and Jean Smandych; a sister, Doris Slemko; and numerous nieces and nephews. Katie was predeceased by her husband Nick in 1986; three brothers, Bill, Tom and Nick; and two sisters, Mary and Jenny.
