Obituary of Alfred Charles Pettit
Alfred Charles Pettit of Calgary passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday, April 1, 2004 at the age of 87 years.
Al was a native Calgarian born on June 13, 1916. He was a serving officer in the Lord Strathcona Horses (Royal Canadians) during and following WWII and worked for the City of Calgary for many years until his retirement.
Al is survived by two sons, Richard and his wife Barbara of Okotoks and Wayne and Lynn of Kelowna; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Iona in 1998; and daughter Diane in 1989.
