Obituary of Madeline Johanna Eggen

Madeline (Mallie) Johanna Eggen, beloved wife of Clinton Eggen of Calgary, passed away at the Intercare Southwood Care Centre on Monday, March 29, 2004 at the age of 83 years. Mallie was born on April 8, 1920 in Plato, SK. She married Clinton on September 8, 1956 in Saskatoon, SK. Clinton served with the RCAF and resided in several locations before moving to Calgary on May 1, 1986. Mallie loved spending time with her grandchildren, camping, curling, crocheting and knitting. Besides her loving husband Clinton, Mallie is remembered by her son and daughter-in-law, Norman and Colleen Eggen of Calgary; and two grandchildren, Christopher and Andrea of Calgary. She is also survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Catherine and Bill McIvor of Snipe Lake SK. Mallie was predeceased by a sister Velma McInnis. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Friday, April 2, 2004 at 2:30 P.M. To forward condolences go to www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
