Obituary of Nina Olive Ruth Harvey
Nina Olive Ruth Harvey of Calgary passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Saturday, March 27, 2004 at the age of 79 years.
Nina was born on May 28, 1924 in Calgary, AB. She resided in Calgary her entire life. Nina was employed as a secretary for the public service sector of the Federal Government for forty-five and a half years. Once retired she spent much of her time travelling. She also enjoyed bowling, lawn bowling, gardening and spending time with her family.
Nina is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Mary of Edmonton, Lloyd and Mary of Winnipeg, and Claude and Marj of Calgary; along with ten nieces and nephews; twenty great-nieces and nephews; and twenty-eight great-great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Doug and sister-in-law May; a great-niece; and most recently by her great-nephew Michael with whom she shared the same birthday.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
