Obituary of Arnold Wilfred Rotenburger

Arnold (Arnie) Wilfred Rotenburger of Calgary passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Friday, March 26, 2004 at the age of 68 years. In the spring of 1935 Arnold Wilfred Rotenburger was born into the arms of Albert and Margareta Rotenburger in the small town of Rosthern, SK. He grew up to become a strong, articulate man who served his country proudly in the Canadian Air Force. When finished with his duties for his country, Arnold attended the University of Calgary where he graduated and found his true calling, working with disabled and special needs children. He has always been a strong, caring man who has always gone out of his way to help others. Arnold is survived by his children, Debbie (M. George) Patterson, John Albert Rotenburger, Susan Lori Heemskirk, Elizabeth Anne (Jeff) Lalonde, Arnold Wilfred Rotenburger, Jr., and Heidi Catherine Rotenburger; grandchildren Kimberly, Matthew, Kain, Amy and Mac; two sisters and a brother, Alice, Florence and George; as well as his dear friend Nellie Spong.
