Obituary of Leon Burn
Leon Burn, beloved husband of Diana of Calgary, AB passed away peacefully at the Rockyview General Hospital on Friday, March 19, 2004 at the age of 66 years.
A professional Engineer, Leon worked internationally in the UK, the Bahamas and Canada. Until his passing, Leon was actively employed by and contributed to the success of ENMAX Corporation for over twenty-two years. Leon was an outstanding team member, friend and leader with integrity next to none. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Leon was the President of the Barracuda Swim Club in the Bahamas; the Director of the Bahamas Racing Sports Car Club; and an active exhibitor of champion canines.
Besides his loving wife, Leon is survived by daughter Lisa (Frank Leeuwerke); granddaughter Kaitlyn; and his father Ronald. He was predeceased by his mother Doris.
A Celebration of Leon’s Life was held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Thursday, March 25, 2004 at 3:30 P.M.
