Obituary of Frederick Christopher Henderson

Frederick (Fred) Christopher Henderson passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Friday, March 19, 2004 at the age of 89 years. Fred moved to Calgary from Kingston, ON in July, 1999 to be closer to his family out West. Fred moved to Father Lacombe Nursing Home in October 2002 and soon after called it home. Fred enjoyed reading his books, playing cards, a good joke, and Sunday night dinners with his family. Fred will be remembered and sadly missed by his children, Jack (Shirley) Hasselaar of West Virginia, USA, Arthur (Debbie) Henderson of Wolfe Island, ON, Nancy (Jerry) Gibbons, Vivian (Don) Brien, and Paul (Tracey) Henderson, all of Calgary; as well as by ten grandchildren, Jack Jr., Les, Christopher, Ian, Brett, Krista, Chad, Donald (Nora), Casey, and Jacoba. Fred will also be remembered and missed by many nieces, nephews and friends both in Ontario and Calgary. Along with his wife Jacoba “Coe,” he is also predeceased by his parents and all of his brothers and sisters. A Memorial Service will be held at Father Lacombe Nursing Home (332 – 146 Avenue S.E.) on Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. To forward condolences go to www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
