Obituary of Quinto Edoardo Bottega
Quinto Bottega, beloved husband and best friend for 30 years of Rosa Bottega of Calgary, passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Thursday, March 18, 2004 at the age of 73 years.
Quinto was born on January 27, 1931 in Pordenone, Italy and immigrated to Edmonton, Canada in 1956, moving to Calgary in 1960. He worked in the construction industry and later founded Bottega Construction, which he operated until he became an Iron Worker. Quinto enjoyed hunting and was a member of the Firulani Club.
Besides his loving wife Rosa, Quinto is also survived by his family Gabrielia Bottega, Rosanna and Ian Wick, and Larry and Sian Foglia all of Calgary, and Claudio and Deidre Foglia; eight grandchildren Ginevra, Jessica, Staecia, Julena, Stefano, Kendrina, David, and Matthew; as well as a great-grandson Clayton. Quinto is also survived by his sister Danila Bottega in Italy.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North), on Sunday, March 21, 2004 at 4:00 P.M.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Italian and English Catholic Church (1714 – 14th Avenue N.E.) on Monday, March 22, 2004 at 2:30 P.M. with theRev. George Mariadoss, Presider.
