Obituary of Douglas Elroy McPhee

Douglas E. McPhee of Calgary, beloved husband of Mary, passed away peacefully at the Rockyview General Hospital on Sunday, March 14, 2004 at the age of 78 years. Doug was born in Calgary and enjoyed a forty-year career in the oil and gas industry. He will be dearly missed by his wife Mary, and their children, Doug and Elizabeth McPhee, Mary Jane and Peter Shankel, and Darcy and Tania McPhee. “Grampie” is survived his grandchildren, Scott, Evan, Cory, Sam, Joshua, Caitlin and Andrew. Doug is also survived by his sister Lois (Roy) Anderson; two nieces Beth (Charlie) Fish, and Susan; and two nephews, Brian and David. He was predeceased by his parents Elroy and Ethel May; brother Harry; and sisters Phyllis and Gwen.
