Obituary of Florence Ford

In sadness we announce that Florence (Flo) Ford of Calgary passed away at the Beverly Care Centre on Thursday, March 11, 2004 at the age of 85 years. Flo was born in Calgary and married Henry in Toronto in 1940, a career Airman in the Canadian Air Force, and spent the next twenty-eight years at many Air Force stations throughout Canada and Europe. They spent their last eleven years together in Vancouver and Enderby, BC when she returned to Calgary in 1979. Flo was an active member of the West Hillhurst Go-Getters and the Kensington Legion. Flo is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Barbara; and her two grandchildren, Ryan and Ashleigh. She is also survived by her sister Dorothy Clarke now of Edmonton. Flo was predeceased by her beloved husband Henry in 1979, a sister Laura Kinghorn in 2002 and a brother John McGregor in 1986. A Family Gathering will be held.
