Obituary of Larry Alexander Fellinger

Larry Alexander Fellinger, beloved husband of Glenna Louise Fellinger (nee Armitage) passed away in Calgary, on Thursday, March 11, 2004 at the age of 67 years. Larry was born in the Beaver Flat area in Southern Saskatchewan on January 11, 1937. He married Glenna on November 7, 1959. While employed with the Bank of Nova Scotia, the family moved around Saskatchewan and Alberta and in 1964 Larry was posted to a branch in Calgary, which has been home since. Larry retired at the age of sixty-three after forty-six years with the bank. Larry enjoyed camping, exploring the world of computers, but most of all spending time with family and friends. If you ever wanted to see a contented smile, you just had to look at his face when they were all gathered around the table reminiscing. We were truly blessed. In addition to his wife Glenna, Larry will be sadly missed by his four daughters, CarolAnn, Connie, Christine (son-in-law Bill), and Cathy. He was also beloved “Papa” to six grandchildren, Stephanie, Tyler, Kyle, Mike, Jessica, and Cole; and a great-granddaughter Nicole. Larry will also be missed by his sisters, Caroline (Eugene and Randy) and Marion; special friends, Marlene and Charlie and Anne Marie; and numerous other family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Alex and Frieda Fellinger, and an infant brother.
