Obituary of Charles Michael Crowchief
Charles Michael “Crow” Crowchief of Morley, AB, passed away at the Tsuu T’ina Nation on Monday, March 8, 2004 at the age of 47 years.
Michael enjoyed sports such as hunting, hockey, baseball, pool and rodeo. He was involved in the traditional culture, traveling to Pow Wows.
He is survived by his sisters, Dawnyvette Crowchief, and Marlene Morin; nieces and nephews, Christine (Clarence), Anna (Bradley), Jerrie (Jessy), William and Ethan Crowchief; Brianna, Marlin, and Desiree Morin, Noah, Raylene, and Bonnie Abraham; as well as numerous cousins, aunts and uncles and the relatives from the Stoney Nation, the Hunter family, the Kaquetts family, and the Beaver family; the relatives from the Tsuu T’ina Nation, the Big Crow family, the Dodging Horse family and the Starlight family. Michael was predeceased by his parents, Douglas Crowchief and Dolly Morin (Crowchief) nee : Beaver; brother Allister; uncles, Matthew Hunter, Issac Beaver, Albert Bearspaw, Nordegg Beaver, William Crowchief; aunts, Maggie and Peggy Nadeau, Anna Twoyoungmen, Sophia Ear, and Sheila Beaver; a niece Monica Dawn Crowchief; two nephews, Alex and Austin Abraham.
