Obituary of Aleta Loraine Duprey

Our beloved mother, Aleta Loraine Duprey of Calgary, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2004 at the Foothills Medical Centre. Aleta was born in Saskatoon, SK on November 26, 1917. Her husband Richard was an Elevator Superintendent, so they lived in many towns in Saskatchewan. After his passing she came to Calgary in 1992 and resided in the Parkdale area, where she made many good friends. She was known as “Gramma Dupe” to her many younger friends. Aleta was a warm, caring lady whose door was always open. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Aleta is survived by her two sons, Lorne and Dale (Donna); two grandsons, Dean (Jen) of Milton, ON and Trent (Heather) of Calgary; a granddaughter Peggy (Tom) Boon; and great-grandchildren, Deniqua and Dalton of Vancouver, BC. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins in various areas. Aleta was predeceased by her husband Richard Lee in 1990, daughter Sharon in 1976, and sister Lenore.
