Obituary of Janina Morf

Janina (Jenny) Morf (nee Zagorska) passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, February 16, 2004 at the age of 80 years. Jenny was born on August 29, 1923 in Warsaw, Poland. She came to Calgary in 1947. She was a talented tailoress. She was a faithful member of the Polish Combatants and Catholic Church where she sang in choirs and contributed in many ways to keeping the Polish culture alive in Calgary. She is remembered by her children, Wanda, Barbara and Ernest; grandchildren Allyson, Christopher, Erin, Sarah, and Richard; sons-in-law, Peter and James; as well as daughter-in-law Jane. She is much loved by those whose hearts her gentle spirit touched. Her love for animals and those less fortunate than she provided a lesson in life. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North), on Sunday, February 22, 2004 at 6:00 P.M.
