Obituary of Kelsie Arnell Rider

Kelsie Arnell Rider was called home by her creator on February 7, 2004. Kelsie was born on March 16, 1985 at High River, AB. She grew up on the Morley reserve and was raised with her only sister (Davina) by her grandparents. Kelsie was a champion jingle dress dancer and she traveled to many pow-wows throughout Canada and the U.S.A. She was an all-star hockey player for the Morley Ice Angels where she had the opportunity to attend the Jasper Summer Hockey Camp. She also loved to go horseback riding and barrel racing during the summer while she was living in Eden Valley. Kelsie received her education at Exshaw School and the Morley Community School where she made numerous friends. She always had a smile for everyone she met. Though Kelsie’s life was short on this earth, we all enjoyed every moment we shared with her. Our memories of Kelsie will always be cherished in our hearts forever. She will be sadly missed by her siblings Davina and Davis; her loving maternal grandparents Gwen Ryder and Lou Crawler Sr.; paternal grandma Mary Jane Wesley; her two special nieces Daisy and Cakes; her special grandfather Wilfred (Caroline) Amos; her maternal aunties Delphine (Derrick), Lenora, Lorna (Dave) and Rosemarie (Stan); maternal uncles Lou Jr. and Frank (Glenda); paternal uncles Wayne, Joe, Shane and Vern; and special friend Coy Makinaw; as well as many special cousins and friends whose lives she touched.
