Obituary of Erling Olsen

Erling Olsen, beloved husband of Ingrid Olsen of Calgary, passed away at the Sarcee Hospice on Sunday, February 8, 2004 at the age of 78 years. Erling was born on April 16, 1925 in Bergen, Norway. He moved to Calgary with his family in 1956 and later became a proud Canadian citizen. Erling was an active member of Sons of Norway. Besides his loving wife of fifty-four years, Erling is remembered by a son and daughter-in-law, Frode and Aud Olsen; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kari and Blaine Holstein and Lise and James Pinkett all of Calgary; six grandchildren, Knut Erling, Kristopher, Kathleen, Andrea, Elin and Karin; and a brother Kjell of Norway. He was predeceased by a sister Ruth. Funeral Services will be held at Lutheran Church Of The Cross (10620 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Thursday, February 12, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev.
