Obituary of Eva Belle Mannion
Eva Belle Mannion of Calgary, passed away peacefully following a short illness at the Edgemont Retirement Lodge on Saturday, January 31, 2004 at the age of 96 years.
Eva Belle was born in Colchester, IL on November 3, 1907. She married James Mannion in 1928 and lived in various locations in Kansas. They moved to Canada in 1953 and except for a short period they resided in Calgary.
Eva Belle is survived by a son Mike; son-in-law Milt Deck (Anita); grandchildren Dan (Karen), Cathy (Mike), Antoinette (Arley), John (Karen), Susan (Freddie), Lawrence and Heather (Steve); great-grandchildren Amy, Keri-Anne, James, Stephen, Christopher, Jean-Luc, Nicolas, Fiona, Ariana, Cierra and Jevon. She also leaves behind her good friends, Jane, Donna, Kay Evelyn, Dorothy and others at the Edgemont Retirement Lodge. Eva Belle was predeceased by her husband James P. Mannion, a daughter Sarah Deck and a daughter-in-law Cheryl Mannion.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North), on Sunday, February 1, 2004 at 6:00 P.M.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke’s Catholic Church (Corner of Northmount Drive & Northland Drive N.W.) on Monday, February 2, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. with the Rev. Inocencio C. Cambaling presiding. To forward condolences go to www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
