Obituary of Francesco Laratta

Francesco Laratta of Calgary, passed away at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton, AB on Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at the age of 59 years. Frank was well known in the community as a successful business man of Statecraft Furniture. He was an avid soccer enthusiast. Frank will be missed by his family and many friends. Frank is survived by three sons, Frank Jr., Costantino, and Paolo to whom he dedicated his life; a sister Caterina Mosca; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Luigi and Emma Laratta, and John and Maria Laratta all of Calgary; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father and mother, Costantino and Rosa. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady Of Grace Italian & English Catholic Church (1714 – 14th Avenue N.E.) on Monday, January 5, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Emmanuel Buttigieg, Presider.
