Obituary of Kenneth Charles Kewish

Dr. Kenneth (Ken) Charles Kewish, beloved husband of Brenda of Calgary, passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Friday, January 2, 2004 at the age of 73 years. Ken was born in Liverpool, England and immigrated to Canada in 1969, residing and practicing medicine until his retirement. He loved working in his garden, making wine and traveling. Ken took up golf in retirement and enjoyed many hours playing with friends and family. Besides his loving wife Brenda, Ken will be fondly remembered by his daughters and sons-in-law, Jane and Bruce and Kate and Doug; and four grandchildren, Lesley, Jenny, Denyse, and Graeme. He is also survived by two sisters, Gwen and Prim, and many nieces and nephews in England, his friends and relatives in the Isle of Man where his paternal grandparents and ancestors lived, and his many colleagues and friends in Calgary, England and the U.S.A. A Celebration of Ken’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Saturday, January 10, 2004 at 3:00 P.M. with Dennis Watson officiating.
