Obituary of William Weston
Dr. Alan Weston of Calgary passed away peacefully at the Rosedale Hospice on December 31, 2003.
Alan was born in England and served in the Royal Navy in World War II. At the end of the war, he entered medical school in Liverpool, England and qualified in medicine. He first worked in general practice and also spent a two-year period working in Africa. On returning to England, he trained in psychiatry and has had a long and distinguished career working in forensic and general psychiatry. He will be remembered for his compassion and care of his patients and their families.
Alan will be lovingly remembered by his wife Glenys; daughters Chris and Anne; son-in-law Bill; and grandchildren Harry and Jessica. He also leaves behind a sister and brother-in-law, relatives, and friends.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Wednesday, January 7, 2004 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
