Obituary of Jeanne Elizabeth Dunlop
Jeanne Elizabeth Dunlop, beloved wife of Ernest Warren Dunlop of Calgary, passed away peacefully, after a short and courageous battle with cancer, on Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at the age of 84 years.
Jeanne was born in Calgary in 1919, her parents George and Ella Mae Myers having moved here from PEI. Jeanne married her loving husband Ernie in 1941. A long-time active member of the I.O.D.E. charity in Calgary, she will be greatly missed by those who knew her kind and generous spirit. She enjoyed bowling and curling at the Glencoe Club as well as playing bridge. She also enjoyed many annual holidays with Ernie, traveling by car, planes and cruises to various destinations.
Besides her loving husband Ernie, Jeanne is survived by her son Alan of Calgary; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara (Paul) Brebner; and grandchildren, Elliot and Maggie, all of Vancouver. She was predeceased by son Ralph in 1949, daughter Kathryn in 1965, son Ross in 1969 and sister Malonie Trombley in 2002.
