Obituary of Isabella Campbell Leask
Isabella Campbell Leask of Calgary passed away on Friday, December 19, 2003 after a lengthy illness surrounded by family at the age of 87 years.
Isabel was born on August 29, 1916 in Marcelin, SK. She moved with her family to the Madden area of Alberta in 1928. Isabel entered the teaching profession and taught for many years in both Alberta and BC. After retiring she returned to Alberta and found satisfaction in doing volunteer work, playing bridge, golf and spending time with her numerous friends and family.
Isabel is survived by her sister Kay; two sisters-in law, Joyce and Corinne; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. She was predeceased by her parents Margaret and George, four brothers Jimmy, George, Donald (Slim) and Mac; and one sister Margaret.
Funeral Services will be held at Parkdale United Church (2919 – 8th Avenue N.W.) on Saturday, December 27, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. with the Rev. Jan Craig officiating.
