Obituary of Thomas McInnis
Thomas M. McInnis, of Calgary, passed away quietly at home due to congestive failure on Saturday, December 13, 2003 at the age of 76 years.
Tom was born on August 3, 1927 in Coalhurst, AB and was raised and schooled in Lethbridge, AB. Tom joined the RCN in 1943 at 16 years of age. In later years he worked as a Safety Risk Manager with Dome Petroleum, Petro Canada and later with Canada Post.
Tom is survived by his loving wife Margaret of fifty-one years. He is also survived by six children Kate, Carol, Colleen, Susan, Jim and David, nineteen grandchildren; a brother Donald; and numerous nieces and nephews. Tom was predeceased by his parents, Lillian and James and a sister Marjorie in 2000.
Funeral Services for close friends and family will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North), on Thursday, December 18, 2003 at 3:00 P.M. with the Rev. R. H.
