Obituary of Stuart Gordon Farquharson

Stuart Gordon Farquharson, beloved husband of Merle Anne of Calgary, passed away at the Foothills Hospital on December 17, 2003 at the age of 77 years. Besides his loving wife Merle Anne, Stuart is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, James and Carol of Calgary; a daughter and son-in-law Katherine and Alex of Salmon Arm, BC; and four grandchildren, Janis, Stephen, Carlton and Naomi. He is also survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Gordon Chapman of Calgary; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dorsey and Patricia Lockie, Murray Lockie, and Dolores Lockie, all of Calgary; and numerous nieces, nephews, and family friends. Stuart was predeceased by two brothers-in-law, Donald and Douglas Lockie; and two sisters-in-law, Onalee and Marie Lockie. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Catholic Church (541 Silvergrove Drive N.W.) on Friday, December 19, 2003 at 10:30 A.M. with the Rev. Bill Corcoran Presider.
