Obituary of Edith Christensen

Edith Christensen, beloved wife of Howard Christensen of Calgary, has gone to be with the Lord on December 16, 2003. Edith was born in Wayne, AB, and married Howard on September 4, 1949 at the New Raven Gospel Mission, west of Spruce View, AB where Howard pastored. They came to Calgary in 1951, and have resided here since. Besides her loving husband Howard, Edith is survived by her daughter, Ann McLean and her partner John Leskow; a grandson, Sean McLean and his wife Leanne, all of Calgary; and a brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Anne Johansen of Mississauga, ON. She was predeceased by her parents Kristine and Villham Johansen, and brother Neil Johansen. Funeral Services will be held at West Calgary Full Gospel Church (8339 Bowness Road N.W.) on Saturday, December 20, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. with the Rev. Robert Smith officiating.
