Obituary of Frank Tucker

Frank Tucker, beloved husband of Jill of Calgary, passed away at home on Thursday, December 4, 2003 at the age of 72 years. Frank was born on November 16, 1931 in Tisdale, SK. He was a millwright by trade and this gave him the opportunity to work in so many different areas. His passion in life was working on and restoring motorcycles, particularly Indian Motorcycles. He would make parts from scratch for his own as well as friends’ motorcycles. Frank enjoyed bowling, meeting friends, and traveling to motorcycle swaps in Alberta and the U.S.A. He loved reading about the history of motorcycles as well as trains, and listening to country music. He recently used the internet to find others with the same passion for motorcycles, as he loved meeting new people. Family was important and Frank always had the time to listen with understanding. Frank enjoyed watching, playing and laughing with his grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Besides his loving wife Jill, Frank is survived by his children, Sandra (Brad) Stangeland, and Diane Tucker, two grandchildren, Aidan and Ciara Chambers-Tucker, all of Calgary. He is also survived by two sisters, Alice Tychnowicz of Edmonton, AB, and Margaret of Ontario; a brother George Tucker of Ontario; a sister-in-law Jennifer O’Leary and his mother-in-law Joyce Sanderson both of Calgary.
