Obituary of Margaret Rose Smyth

Margaret Rose (Pearl) Smyth (nee McGlinchey) of Calgary passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Sunday, November 30, 2003 at the age of 79 years. Pearl was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland and immigrated to Calgary in April of 1952. She is survived by one son and five daughters; Jim and Amanda Smyth of Calgary, Margaret Smyth of Sherwood Park, Anne Young and Neil Glass of Calgary, Patsy Franssen of Calgary, Bernie Wilson of Lethbridge, and Cathy and Raj Sedani of Edmonton; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; MacDonald Young and his family, as well as family in Northern Ireland. Pearl was predeceased by her husband John in 1992. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.), on Thursday, December 4, 2003 at 2:30 P.M.
